A little Easter pattern (and a weekend treat) 🌿

Hi Reader,

I hope you’re doing well and enjoying the Spring Landscapes crochet pattern so far. It’s been so nice seeing new motifs going up on the blog each day, and I’ve really loved spotting your makes starting to appear too.

The crochet along for that will continue, but I couldn’t quite resist sharing something else with you today.

The weather has been warming up here, and yesterday I spent all afternoon outside watching my son at his school cross-country event. It was beautifully sunny and properly felt like spring had arrived. With Easter just around the corner and the holidays nearly here, it felt like the perfect moment to release something small and seasonal.

If you’ve been with me for a while, you might remember the Crunchella pumpkin from a couple of years ago. It used a lovely textured stitch called the crunch stitch, and I’ve brought that back for this new design.

I’ve just released the Cottage Texture Easter Egg crochet pattern.

It’s a simple, relaxing project made with DK weight yarn, and the crunch stitch gives it that soft, rustic texture that feels very “cottagecore” and perfect for spring.

The pattern is now available as a downloadable PDF on Etsy and Ravelry, and I’ve added a little launch discount. I’ve also put a site-wide sale on for the weekend as a small thank you.

These eggs are a lovely one to sit and make quietly. You can create a whole set in different colours, use them for Easter egg hunts, string them into a garland, or add them to a table display.

If you do make some, I’d really love to see them. You’re always welcome to share your makes in the Facebook group.

Just a couple of gentle reminders while you’re here:

The Spring Landscapes crochet pattern series is continuing, with new motifs being released regularly on the blog.

And I’m also taking part in the British Country Garden blanket crochet along, which is well underway now if you’d like to join in.

Thank you, as always, for being here.

Gemma
