Hi Reader,

The summer holidays are looming, it's almost July and I'm trying to get organised ready for the busy season!

This year I'm properly leaning into Christmas in July (I know, I know, it might feel impossible to start thinking about Christmas now - but from a crochet perspective it totally makes sense!)

Over the next month, I'll be sharing on email and on my socials lots of different Christmas patterns, so you can plan and get started on those gifts and decorations before it's too late!

So to get the ball rolling, today I'd like to introduce you to the Poinsettia Tree! 🌲

The Poinsettia Tree is a modern take on festive crochet, combining a simple cone shape with beautiful floral detail to create a striking Christmas decoration.

Hi Reader, It's definitely turning chilly now (in fact I've been wearing two jumpers while I'm sat working the past couple of days!) But that also means it's crochet season, and I have definitely been busy! Hi Reader, The weather is definitely getting colder now, which means it's time for autumn beanies! My new Cobnut Beanie pattern is out today. It's worked in the pique stitch, which gives a lovely textured fabric, and it's made in warm autumnal colours. It's crocheted side to side, then seamed, and the brim is folded over to finish it off.
